MTV Has Dukes Pictures

You can see some photos taken from the set of the Dukes of Hazzard at MTV.

Sean William Scott, Johnny Knoxville, and Jessica Simpson are all there, along with a few set shots and few pictures of the General Lee and Boss Hogg’s convertible.

Looks like Sean William Scott is sporting some facial hair throughout the movie.

Jessica Simpson looks just the way you’d guess she would in a pair of cut-off Daisy Duke jean shorts!

There are about twenty-five total snapshots at MTV as I write this, hopefully they will add more as the movie’s release grows closer. In the meantime, you can check out the cast here:

Dukes of Hazzard Script Reviewed

Someone writing at Filmforce got an early release copy of the script for the upcoming Dukes of Hazzard movie.

Luckily, the reviewer doesn’t go into a great deal of detail regarding specific plot points and manages not to give out any spoiler information.

Some insights were pretty interesting. The script features a fair amount of slapstick comedy. The reviewer noted: “There's plenty of slapstick in this draft, with Bo and Luke constantly horsing around and playing pranks on one another like the overgrown kids they are. This schtick was amusing to read but I'm sure it'll play much better onscreen. Both Knoxville and Scott are certainly adept at slapstick, and Chandrasekhar's past efforts demonstrate he knows how to showcase such humor.”

That sounds pretty positive, huh?

Overall, the reviewer claims the script is “harmless fluff” and that it doesn’t quite measure up to Smokey and the Bandit or the Blues Brothers. It was, however, better than he expected.
